Mum and daughter team, Joy Devine and Liz Devine-Wright, initially started their business as a hat shop, but increasing success has enabled it to evolve into a fabulous shopping experience encompassing handbags, jewellery, gifts and cards, as well as their core offering of all kinds of hats and fascinators. And to accompany the headwear they have a fabulous range of beautiful handbags, jewellery, pashminas and silk wraps – ideal for ladies who have their own persona and don’t want to be a department store clone! Simply Devine, run by mother and daughter, stocks glamorous unique accessories for very special occasions and have even supplied Christina Aguilera with a hat which was sent all the way to California. Simply Devine, in addition to their boutique situated at York Road, Tadcaster supply wedding hats, fascinators and accessories worldwide from orders placed on their website: www.simplydevine.co.uk. You will also find a collection of Simply Devine headwear at Thimbelina based in Walmgate, York to complement Sarah’s bespoke outfits. Simply Devine situated in Tadcaster is currently open 10-5pm Wednesday-Friday and Saturday 10-1pm. Simply Devine also cater for private shopping parties in the evenings when wine and nibbles will be served. Just telephone to book, but hurry… dates are limited.
