Here's what one girl had to say about the Boudoir experience"Nothing would have convinced me that I would have found myself on a bank holiday weekend, sitting on the edge of a stranger’s bed, in my underwear being photographed.  But there I was...and it felt great.I have all the usual hang ups that women have about their body- all those hang ups and then a few more!  My wobbly arms, my chubby thighs, my tiny breasts...there aren’t many parts that I actually like.  The idea of a boudoir shoot was put to me by a friend, and it wasn’t something that I ever thought I’d want to do.  But when I mentioned it to my boyfriend his eyes lit up in such a way that it actually made me think that it could be fun, it could be just what I needed to get a much needed confidence boost.So I contacted Shutter Bliss who have always impressed me with their beautiful photos, and we worked out a good date.  And it really was a good day- I felt so looked after from the second I stepped through the door- and most importantly, I felt relaxed.I had a few ideas of the sort of photos that I wanted, but I was really unsure of how to pose or how to hold myself to get a good photo.  I’m one of those ‘always behind the camera’ people and rarely ever like photographs of myself.  I was very, very nervous!  I was so relieved that she knew what would make me look good and make the most of my good points- she even made me feel like I had no bad points!  She gave me really easy directions to follow and made posing really straightforward.  She made posing fun!  I laughed AND pouted my way through the day.Packing up my things afterwards, I did start to feel nervous again.  What would the pictures look like?  What if they weren’t how I pictured in my head?  What if I looked (that dreaded word) fat??  And obviously I had nothing to worry about, as I was in her  safe hands.  Although she reassures me that I didn’t need much retouching, I knew she gave my pictures that magazine feel that I wanted.  I loved them.  I squealed.  I think, possibly, my boyfriend loved them even more though..."

We love shooting children of all ages (only with a camera, promise!). We come to your home with our portable studio so you don't have to worry about a thing.Newborns are best caught in the first ten days of their lives. We know you may not feel like being socialable at this time, but if you can get yourself into a pair of comfy pjs and feed your little one, we will do all the rest. We understand that you will not have make up on, and most likely not have had a shower for days, we don't judge, we've seen it all, and the resulting pictures will be worth it.Ideally, you should contact us while you are still pregnant. We know that babies do not always arrive when expected, however, we do need to know so that we can keep slots free for you in the diary.If you can't face the newborn session, we can arrange a shoot for babies and children of all ages. We have lots of fun with children of any age (including mum and dad). Shoots can take place at your home, in your favourite park, on the beach, or in a studio surrounding, whatever makes you more comfortable.Call us now to have a chat and arrange to preserve this special time in your families life for all time.
